PCI & PCI-X Expansion Boxes
Magma's patented PCI and PCI Express technology allows cards within the expansion system to appear seamlessly as if they were plugged directly into the host computer. A wide range of expansion systems are available for use with laptops or rackmount servers.
Amplicon and Magma have teemed up to provide a range of 4U rackmount Ventrix expansion systems. Powered by Magma, these systems incorporate Amplicon industrial chassis and power supplies, to deliver greater robustness, reliability and are even more cost effective!
PCI and PCIe x1 to PCI/PCIe expansion systems provide additional PCI/PCIe slots for desktops, workstations and servers. This capability can overcome the problem with new servers that do not support 5.0V PCI expansion cards and enables existing 5.0V PCI cards to be kept in service or to use a PCIe x1 interface to accommodate a PCIe x16 card.
The new Magma EB4-1U and EB7 PCIe expansion systems are rackmount PCI Express expansion chassis, EB4-1U and EB7. These provide expansion via a PCIe x8 host card to 4 and 7 slots PCIe x16 slot rackmount chassis, respectively.
Thus, Amplicon can now provide a full range of PCI and PCI Express expansion systems as listed below.

CB1H + F - 1 x PCI Slot
These one slot PCI expansion systems provide a portable way of adding a full-length PCI slot with the CB1F and a half-length PCI slot with the CB1H to your laptop. CB264 - 2 x PCI Slots
This expansion system adds 2 full-length PCI slots to laptops in a compact enclosure. The PCI slots support 5.0V and universal PCI 64-bit and 32-bit, 33MHz cards. The Magma CB2 also features two internal 3.5" drive bays for HDDs and an additional internal PCI slot. Also available, is a DC powered version, offering increased portability. This 4 slot PCI to PCI expansion system is the most compact way to add PCI slots and additional storage to your laptop, PC or industrial computer.
